Is It Safe To Take Amoxicillin, Benylin Cold And Flu Tablets, And Kalms Night Tablets Together?

Hi, I am on amoxicillin and Benylin cold and flu tablets, I have Kalms night tablets but I am not sure if i should take them as it says not to take with other tablets that make you drowsy or sleepy which the flu tablets do. Would I be okay to take all 3 things together ?

Hello,

No, do not take all the three together. Amoxicillin has no major sedative effect. However, Kalms night tablets and Benylin cold and flu tablets commonly have sedative effects. You can take Amoxicillin and Benylin as it is safe. But you should check before taking if amoxicillin suits you. Always take medicines after food to about pain due to gastritis.

If your Benylin already has a drowsy ingredient, skip Kalms Night while you’re taking it. Have warm foods and soothing warm drinks to support your recovery. Make sure to rest well while taking your medicines and avoid driving or strenuous activities until you’re fully better.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
