Hello,
Metformin has been shown to be safe when taken during pregnancy. It is essential that you continue the medication since you have been diagnosed with PCOS. Thus the maintenance of proper insulin levels is possible during pregnancy. Though it is said that there is no cure for PCOS, sometimes, after child birth, there is a natural cure and spontaneous regular ovulatory cycles ensue. This is perhaps due to the prolonged progesterone effect. Please maintain a healthy diet and a healthy weight. Take care.
