Is It Safe To Take Mosegor While Having Glucoma?

Dear dr I have migraine and got headache for the past 6 days nonstop Never had any medications before but now dr prescribed Mosegor 0.5mg But I read it might effect people with Glucoma,,, I don t have Glucoma but once they suspected I have and now I am monitored for that Can I still go for Mosegor?!!Thank Manal

Short asnwer: No.

Detailed answer: I really understand your concern.
Mosegor (Pizotifen) is contraindicated in patients with glaucoma, so it should be avoided. In your case, first glaucoma should be ruled out by measuring eye pressure and fundus oculi examination, because you can't risk to take that, while there are other drug that may help you for your migraine.
