Is It Safe To Take Warfarin For Restless Leg?

Thank you. I have just started taking Boots Leg Vein Support - Red Vine Leaf Extract - for restless legs having previously taken Antistax. I take Warfarin prescribed by my doctor and am wondering whether I should take these Leg Vein Support tablets or not?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may want to consider speaking to your doctor about this combination because it is possible that the red vine leaf extract may interact with the warfarin.

The red vine leaf extract is thought to contain grape which may also prevent or reduce clotting.
If combined with warfarin there is a potential for an increased risk of bleeding.

I hope this helps
