Is It Safe To Take Gupisone-20 And Prednisolone-20 For Breathing Difficulty ?

Hi, my husband is nw suffering from breathing problem and doctor said it as an allergic problem.nw he is adviced to take gupisone-20 and prednisolone-20mg.is it safe to take this as we heard that these are banned medicines?

These are steroids can be used for a short period if used as tablets and when sympoms are relieved, should be gradually tappered and stopped. should not be taken for long.
Although inhalers in low dose can be taken for a long period for prophylaxis against exacerbations of breathlessness.
