Is It Safe To Take Motrin With Synthoid, Micardis, HCTZ And Ambien?
I was checking to see if it was safe to take Motrin 800 mg. with my other meds. I am taking Synthroid, Micardis 80 mg., HCTZ, Ambien. I had back surgery Oct. 31, 2013, and I am bothered with Sciatic pain at times, I had been taking just Tylenol but I am wanting to know about the Motrin. I really don t like taking any NSAIDS but if it helps I want to try.

hello and welcome.
motrin ie ibuprofen is safe to take with your medicine. I would advise a 5 day course initially along with a ppi eg pantoprazole 40 mg od to prevent nsaid induced ulcer. afterwards you may take it as per need.
