Is It Safe To Take Norco 1 Every 8hrs ?

why would my docter prescribe me norco 1 every 8 hrs during the day instead of every 4 to 6 hours. I'm already on morphine 60 mgs, extended release at night but it only lasts for about 6 hrs. I was just wondering why my pcp would do that with the norco. The docters in uofm were surprised about it to.

Unless your pains are nit well controlled, pain mdications a=can b manipulated in various ways to address your pain. Though it is ideal to give norco every 4-6hours, giving it every 8hours is acceptable should the pain be well controlled. I believe your pain is not well controlled and talking to your doctor about this would make hi to consider adjusting the interval and or dosage. Talk to him and for sure something would be done to better manage your pain.
