Is It Safe To Take Penicillin Injection For Cold?

My husband is letting a farmer inject him with penicillin because he has a cold. Maybe...I disagree strongly, but he won t listen, his friend is an elderly man, who thinks that is the way to go. He has convinced my husband that the doctor or the pharmacy is getting rich.... How can I help my man, that has medicare to listening to other people, instead of a doctor?

Its totally wrong for him to take a treatment from a quake. If he was allergic to penicillins, this injection may have taken both of these friends in real trouble. So convince him by telling him that, sometimes a drug once injected for the first time does nothing harmful but 2nd dose may kill with anaphylaxis.
Cold is not treated with penicillins in the first place. Viral colds have no definite treatment needed and go at its own after a week or 10days.
