Is It Safe To Take Prednisone 5mg Six Tablets?

I ve been prescribed prednisone 5mg six tablets to be taken in the morning time after food. I feel quite anxious about taking so many tablets in one go as I have had adverse reactions to different antibiotics ect. I know these are a steroid medication but still feel very anxious incase I have some sort of reaction.

Prednisolone is no doubt a steroid but one thing I want to tell you is that this is most potent steroid and used as a life saving drug in many many cases.
The normal dose varies from 5-60 mg even once in day or twice depending upon type of disease.
However , if used for very long time it may develop many side effects but for short term this is the best medicine with no side effect .
You can use without hesitation .
