Is It Safe To Use Benztropine For Dyskinesia?

My daughter developed some involuntary movements of the face and tongue due to use of Abilify (3 week use). i just got he the prescribed benztropine but I am afraid to give it to her since the label from the pharmacy indicates it is not to be used to treat tardive dyskinesia and can make it worse. Any thoughts if this can make the problem potentially worse? Thanks

I can understand your problem, if this is Tardive dyskinesia , there are numbers of drugs available for this but non of them is having promising result, this is difficult to treat hardly cured, but the best class of drug that can be tried are " Dopamine depleting drug Tetrabenazine" and "Benzodiazepine" for proper dose the clinical examination is must and for this you can talk to some good physician hope this information helps you take care, bye.
