Is It Safe To Use Cotrimazole And If So Should I Use An Applicator?
Hie. I am 7weeks pregnant and i have jus finished an antibiotic zannat that was for an infection in my uterus lining. Ultrasound shows that the infection has cleared, but now i have vaginal thrush. Is it safe to use cotrimazole and if so should i use an applicator?

Clotrimazole use has not been well studied during the first trimester. Clotrimazole is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
You just need to be careful about how far you insert the pessary and don't use the applicator, use your finger.

you may use cotrimazole after discussing with doctor.it is the best not to use applicator.your doctor may prescribe pessary instead.
