Is It Safe To Use Nutriflam, Viostin-x And Nucoxia During Pregnancy?

two weeks ago, i got patellar dislocation and the doctor prescribe me nutriflam, viostin-x and nucoxi 15 mg. and now i m entering my third trimester pregnancy, 26-27 week,, (G1P0A0). I would like to ask you,, is that all drugs is save for my baby? thank you

Hi,

Nucoxia is not safe during pregnancy. Nucoxia is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which can increase the risk of premature closure of the ductus arteriosus (a blood vessel in your baby's heart to close before it should).

If this happens, it can cause high blood pressure in your baby's lungs. Nucoxia can also make it harder for you to go into labor or can reduce the level of amniotic fluid that surrounds your baby in your womb.

For these reasons, you should only use nucoxia under your doctor’s supervision to ensure no problems crop up.

There is no documented evidence of nutriflam and viostin-X causing any harmful effects during pregnancy.
