Is It Safe To Use Ornidazole,metrogyl And Zinc Tablets For Steroid Withdrawal Treatment?
i used mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream. for one year. and my skin got addicted to this cream. and my doctor now prescribed ornidazole gel metrogyl gel plus cream. for the steroid withdrawal treatment. and he also gave me some zinc tablets. how much time will it take to cure and get a healthy skin

I can understand your problem, if you are using local steroid preparation, that may not crate any systemic withdrawal effects, again the treatment that you have asked is not for withdrawal effect of steroid even if you are taking oral steroid, hope this information help you, take care and have nice day. Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM
Long term use of potent steroids on face can lead to atrophy, photosensitivity, acne and steroid induced rosacea/flushing reactions.
You need to stop the steroids for giving your skin a chance to recover.
Metrogyl gel is an anti-inflammatory gel and does help to reduce redness and acneform eruptions associated with steroid induced rosacea.
Along with that use a broad spectrum sunscreen through out the day.
Use a mild cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily.
I would take around 2-3 weeks to have a noticeable improvement and a few months for the skin to recover completely.
