Is It Suggested To Give Meftal 250 For Severe Ear Pain?

my 4 and half year old son was crying in pain,he complained f severe pain just below his ear. He is already under medication due to allergic reactions,nebulises and also takes relent, and montair. Whn he was crying in pain i gave him a meftal 250. Is that fine? Need a reply at d earliest. Thank You
