Is It To Be Concerned About Blood Along With Stool?

I'm a 38y/o m and this morning I noticed what appeared to be brighter red blood coming from my stool. I didn't notice any clotting or any signs of blood from within the stool, the blood coloration seemed to be surrounding the stool, I have had no pain or other symptoms, however, I did drink a fruit smoothy that had red beats and purple carrots in it the day before. Could it have been the smoothy or should I wait for my next bowel movement to visit a physician?

May be you are suffering from hemorrhoids.
So go to a qualified surgeon , he will perform Digital rectal exam.
