Is It To Be Concerned About Child Having Blood In Stool?

I have a 3 yrs old soon who has started pooping bloody ball shaped poop, its not actually huge amount of blood yet small amounts..........he shows no signs of discomfort in any thing.he eats well, he is very active and he shows nothin of any general behavior changes. Is this smthn serious? Thank u.

Hi... By what you quote it seems that your child has dysentry. You need to do a stool routine microscopy test in child and child should be put on antibiotics like oflox 5 ml PO three times a day for 5 days. However, since this is a prescription medicine, i advice you to meet the local doctor to confirm the diagnosis.
