Is It To Be Concerned About Child Vomiting Continuously?

My 6 year old has been vomiting every couple of days for the past 6 weeks now, with no other symptoms. She's been to her family doctor 2 weeks ago and was told there that her stomach is inflamed. My daughter has been taking ranitidine for 2 weeks and she continues to vomit. Could there be a more serious condition thats being overlooked?
