Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Yes you should be concerned. You should visit local cardiologist and get echo done. If hole is small it can be closed with device and it's a minor procedure. If it's larger then you will need surgery. But you get yourself treated because it may later lead to irreversible damage to heart and lungs which is beyond treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar Makode
