Hello,

What I understand by the history is there is some imbalance within the knee joint leading to such symptoms.

Firstly I would like to know what is your age? are you having high blood pressure? are you diabetic? have you met any accident or injury to knee recently or in the past?

Since all this question remains unknown what I feel is there is instability of the knee joint and that needs correction. Trying out wearing a knee brace in the night before sleeping should help avoid any unwanted pressure on the internal structures of the knee. Next, I will recommend you to do a checkup with an orthopedist for physical examination of the knee. Also, doing strengthening exercise for the knee will be of great help to get the stability of the knee joint and avoid unwanted abnormal pressures.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
