Is Lactogen Recommendable At Night For A Breast Feeding Baby?

Hi Doc, i am breastfeeding my baby throughout the day....but she does not seem to be satisfied.
She was getting up so frequently at night and crying....after giving breastfeed she does not take much and sleeps again and then wakes up in half an hour again for more milk. On some friend's suggestion we started to give Lactogen at night (around 40ml) and with that baby was sleeping nicely for 2 to 3 hours. Is it good practice? Sometimes we give in day time also when we feel she is not taking breastfeed properly.....please let us know if we can continue with this....with lots of Thanks.

Hello
Welcome to healthcaremagic
You haven't mentioned age of your baby.Breast milk is the best milk and it should be given exclusively in first 6 months. If it is less then you can try following to increase it
.shatavarex powder milk
.Other oral lactagouge medicines like lactate
.perinorm tablet under doctors supervision
.drink lots of liquids
.positive thinking
.complete balanced diet
If inspite of doing all these nothing is happening then you give lactogen.Don't give it by bottle.Give by wait spoon. Before making it boil water for 20 minutes. Wash hands properly.Mix in 30ml water= 1 scoop propertion
Regards
