Is Leakage Of Water In Stomach With Severe Pain After Doing Endoscopy For Enlarging Food Pipe Serious?

Hi, My Mom had a very narrow food pipe and they had done an endoscopy to enlarge her Food Pipe. Last night she had severe pains at a constant spot. They then suggested to do a CT Scan. Apparently, there is a leakage of water in her stomach. -- How is that possible? Is that Scary? What should she do next?

Yes. It's serious. Let your mother be under supervision of doctor and hospital. CT scan should clarify regarding leakage in the abdomen.
