Is Leg Cramping Normal Before Vomiting?

s it common to get leg cramps BEFORE vomiting? i was told that this was indicative of food poisoning. I was up all night last night with three bouts of vomiting finally a little diarrhea. Drinking fluids/gatorade now. Cramps seem to subsided even before I stopped vomiting. Seems backwards to me

Hello,

Viral gastroentritis or food poisoning you may develop leg cramps. In case of hypokalemia or restless leg syndrome you may develop this problem.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Ondonsetron twice a day for five days. Take plenty of potassium contain juices or tender coconut water. Take rest, if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
