Is Loose Stool Normal After Appendectomy?
I had an appendectomy five days ago. After four days of constipation I finally had a bowel movement yesterday. Today I have had loose stool and passed some bile like liquid this evening I have had a low fever 99.7. Is this something I need to worry about/monitor or can I hold off until tomorrow to speak to a doctor?

Temperature of 99.7 indicates mild infection could be there in body.
I would definately advice a patient of such complains coming to me to do a blood test-Haemogram along with abdominal sonography.
Definately with these lab reports you should meet a general surgeon because passage of bile like liquid in stools and mild fever needs futher check up.
