Is Low Back/front Left Side Pain Common After Hysterectomy With One Ovary Left And Endometriosis Surgery ?

I had a hysterectomy but they left one ovary..the one on the left. I had 5 big fibroids. I also had endometriosis. It was everywhere. They removed that too. Been 3 years since the surgery. Now I m having low back/ front left side pain. If I eat sugary food or drink alcohol it worsens and I spot. It s brownish. Fibroids? Endometriosis? Cancer? I am uninsured and don t know what to do. I have adjusted my diet which helps a lot.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Based on the current information I would first like to rule out cysts of the left behind ovary and possibly other conditions as well. I would not worry about cancer, but would either way request you to try to get your insurance renewed and get an ultrasound examination of your pelvic region, a scopy and a speculum examination which will have to be conducted by a doctor.

Hppe this helps.

Best wishes.
