Is Lower Back Pain Caused By Arthritis A Permanent Condition?

I have lower back pain and it radiates down my left leg. I had an MRI and my primary doctor said that I have arthritis and he suggested that I see an orthopedic doctor. I am wondering if arthritis is a permanent condition or can it be fixed to relieve the pain?

Hi,
osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition which is permanent, but there are many methods to get relief . You can take mild pain killer like paracetamol or tradamol.
physiotherapy and exercise can also help.
In severe case, surgery is the last resort.
