Is Masturbation Safe After Recovering From Chlamydia And Gonorrhea?

I was infected with Chlamydia and gonorrhea and I was treated last week on the 23rd with a shot of ceftriazone and two pills of azithromycin. I am a female.. Twenty years of age.. 6 0 235 lbs. Is it okay for me to masturbate... Or do I need to wait a whole three weeks until my follow up?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Since you have been recently treated for infection, you need to wait for 3 weeks for follow up to happen till you resume your sexual activity, or even masturbation for that matter.
It takes 3 weeks for organisms to clear and your tissues to be back to normal. Hence you need to wait for that period. Otherwise you might have reinfection or complications associated with it.
