Is Medical Consultation Needed For Itching And Burning Sensation In The Vagina?
I am 56 I recently started having sex with a friend of mine. After having oral sex with him twice where he inserted his fingers in me I get a burning and itching in my virgina. I called my doctor and told them I had a yeast infection and they called me in something 1 pill , I took it yesterday.. The problem is I m still itching and burning . Neither one of us has had sex with anyone else for sure in a few years. Should I call my doctor again?

It can be due to due to injury or infection due to fingering. You would have taken antifungal. Maybe you need to start antibiotics and take a 1-week antifungal dose or you can go for local application of antifungal cream.
