Is Melasma Related To Itchy Skin Around The Pubic Bone?

I have been diagnosed with melasma about three weeks ago which was very upsetting. Yesterday I noticed my skin was light brown around my pubic bone underneath my pubic hair. There was a slight itch but nothing too annoying. Are the two conditions related? What treatments would you recommend?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you are pregnant then this could be a melasma, and if you are not pregnant then this could be something else and that need to be differentiate, (You have not given history of pregnancy) now for the pubic skin problem this is not because of the melasma even if you ever have it, this could be allergic condition you can apply local cream of "Beclomethasone" this would give very good result, take care and have nice day.
I find this answer helpful
