Is Memory Loss A Side Effect Of Gabapentin Drug Intake?

Thank you. I am interested in knowing the side effects of gabapentin. I take 300 mg 3 times daily for nerve pain from sciatica as well as a pinched nerve in my back. I am having some confusion and memory loss, such as names of people, places and things (nouns). It is disturbing to me. I am under the care of my rheumatologist.
