Is Menstruation Possible Despite Being Sterilized?
Hi, I am a 38 year old female. I was sterilised 3 years ago. I had my period 2 weeks ago which was very heavy for 3 days. It lasted 6 days. This was not normal for me. I decided to wait and see what my next cycle would be like but now my period started again. Should I be concerned?
When you are sterilized the tubes are cut and ovaries still are active secreting hormones and uterus is still there creating period. The period still will come as usual when sterilized.
This bleeding after period is not normal. You should do an ultrasound to check for Fybromyoma that is most common bleeding cause and also endometrial lining thickness.
