yes my mother just died a month ago from cardiorespiratory failure, and atherosclerote cardiovascular disease and mitral value stenosis had no symptoms at all this was sudden, could there of been signs and she just did not tell anyone? she was only 62 was in good shape thin no over weight but they said her one main value to her heart was 80 to 90% clogged and the other 2 were 50, she just fell over on her bed gasping for air they tried to bring her back but could not, she stopped taking her thyroid medication for 5 years could that have caused it, just have so many questions thank you
** 1. although ADR [Adverse drug reaction] of levothyroxine is angina, cardiac arrhythmia, heart failure which might be one possibility but since she discontinued for 5 years it seems a remote possibility.
2. Since the symptoms happened all of a sudden [also she was in good shape] with previous history of CAD [coronary artery disease] and MS [mitral stenosis], thus cause of death seems to be sudden cardiac arrest due to coronary blockage [CAD] and cardiac outflow obstruction [MS].
