Is Mouth Ulcers And Blemishes Side Effect After Using Protein Powder?

I consumed Amway Nutrilite protein powder for the last 3 days and now ia m suffering from intense mouth ulcers and blemises in the throat and mouth. My tonsils is also paining. Is this a side effect or is it because of some other reason. I have never experienced this consuming anyother SOYproducts. Please Advise

Hi,

You can stop taking the powder for a few days and watch for your symptoms.You might be allergic to any of the ingredients in the powder. Check for the ingredients in powder box for any known allergens.You could be allergic to even any of the preservatives and additives.Switch to other protein powder in case of doubt. Mouth ulcer gels can be used to reduce the pain.Drink plenty of fluids like fruit juices and tender coconut.
