Is My BP Normal?

I am a 36 year old woman , I weigh about 215 pounds and I am 5'1". I took my blood pressure this evening after cleaning the house and running up and down the stairs a few times to put my kids to bed. It was 117/84. I guess What I want to know is if this is good and what is a good BP for me and what is a good resting heart rate.

Welcome to H.C.M. I am Dr Krishna Dubey.
My dear friend, your blood pressure is normal. Normal blood pressure should be 120/80 mmhg and pulse rate should be 72 beat per minute(normal range 60 to 100 beat per minute).

Your weight is more than normal person for your height and age.

I suggest you to do regular exercise and decrease fatty diets so you can reduce your weight.

This will also help to control on your blood pressure.

Thanx for query.
