Is My Navicular Bone Or Talus Causing Pain?

I m a 19 year old male athlete who s 140 lbs and runs track. I fractured my navicular bone in my right foot May of last year and ended up getting surgery on it October of last year which included putting a plate over the bone. June of this year they took the hardware out and I began running again about 15-16 weeks ago. Now I think I have a pain in the same area but am not sure if it is my navicular bone or talus. Could this bone be acting up again? Or is it a common pain that I should expect from this sort of injury?

Hello,

This kind of pain is quite normal after such an injury. The tissues are not the same after the injury, and there might be chronic pain intermittently. For this reason, I recommend physiotherapy to help improve your situation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
