The most common cause is urinary tract infection. You will need to get your urine tested for routine and microscopic examination and also for culture and sensitivity. A course of antibiotics will be needed to control the infection.
Till you see a doctor and get this done, drink lots of water. Use paracetamol if there is fever. Stones in the urinary tract can also cause pain during urination.
