Is Nebulization Safe For Infants?

my daughter is 6 months old. She had severe chest congestion and wet cough for the last 4 days. Have been asked to nebulize with asthalin. Wanted to know if its safe for infants and if it is also used to treat non allergic cough since this is her very first instance of cough

yes ,it is safe to give nebulisation in 6 months old infants.it works fast and has less systemic side effects compared to oral medicines.caution should be exercised
