Dear sir

Novorapid is a insulin aspart, which is a ultrarapid acting insulin given to correspond the blood sugars at meal times

Secondly it comes under FDA category c for pregnancy, which means it is routinely not indicated for gestational diabetes

Thirdly Human insulin are indicated routinely for all gestational diabetes, but no analogue insulins are indicated.

So It is recommended to continue human regular insulins even though there is no harmful effects noted by using novorapid. But it is not indicated

Thanks
