Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Numbness, Bruising And Tingling In Calf After Injury Normal?
On May 1st I fell off a ladder and hit my calf and originally had a large lump and bruise. At the time I saw an orthepedic doctor and they said it was just a large hematoma. The swelling did go away but I went to a vascular specialist who said I checked out fine after four weeks because I had then, and still do now have a bruise and a slight loss of feeling to touch from the calf to the ankle, and occasional tingling (after almost 4 months). I can walk fine, but should I be concerned?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. From description , this hard lump most probably formed due to haematoma formation (collection of blood) which might get fibrosed or calcified. It will take few weeks to months to get disappear. Numbness, bruising and tingling in calf after injury might be due to superficial nerve fiber injury. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination of swelling. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance. Meanwhile give hot fomatation over it, You can take Tablet Motrin 1 tablet with food as and when required (upto 4 tablets daily).
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
