Is Numbness In The Face Symptoms Of MS?

18 months ago I had a numb feeling at the sides of my face & top of my forehead on my face. It progressed 1 night & felt tingling on my face, tongue ,lips & neck & toes, also my tongue seemed to stick when trying to swallow. CT suggested MS but neurologist said no..I have experienced similar symptoms tonight. ..worried

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
Fortunately I must say that I agree with your neurologist. Multiple sclerosis can cause and start with numbness but usually it is confined to a certain region of the body corresponding to a region in the brain, not in this abrupt bilateral way from face to toes you are describing. Of course your neurologist must have visited you and found no neurological deficits as well I suppose.
As for the CT scan, it is very improbable for a CT scan to diagnose multiple sclerosis, usually they are multiple small lesions visible only on MRI.
