Is Numbness In The Right Arm A Symptom Of An Issue Related To The Heart Or Spine?

I have a history of R A, Mitral and tricuspid valve repair (will undergo replacement some time in near future), and degenerative disc disease (lumbar region fused). My doctors tell me that when my pressure in my heart gets over 10 it will be time to operate. The repairs were done 15 years ago. The pressure went from a 7 to a 9 in a bit over a year. So my question is: I am now experiencing numbness and tingling involving my entire right arm. Note* I am a 65 year old woman. Is it possible that this symptom is heart related or more likely related to my spine issues? Thanks

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain your described is more likely to be due your spine issue, heart pain is least likely to be in the whole limb. and mostly is not sharp and burning. So probably this is from your spine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
