Is Omeprazole Harming Bones And Causing Lower Back And Hip Pain?

Hi, I've been taking omeprazole 40 mg, for some time now...but I still have the problem with acid reflux...occasionally and very bad case of bloating, stomach area, liver area which can get sowllen and hard...it goes from side to side. For a couple of months now...I've been getting bad...bad...lower back, hip pain n other spots on the spine...Is the omeprazole causing damages to my bones? Is there a better diet to follow?

Hi. Omeprazole helps to reduce acidity and not the reflux. You need to get added medicines for the reflux. The pain in your low-back, spine and hip may need an attention by Orthopedic Surgeon as they can not be caused by Omeprazole.
