Is Over-dosage Of Vlenol Tablets, Dangerous?

My 20 year old son took 2 tylenol pm tablets about 7 hours ago and just took 2 more Should I be overly concerned? The adult dosage indicates 2 tablets in 24 hour timeframe He has the flu and is acky and just wanted sleep until work in the morning.

Hello,

Tylenol PM( Paracetamol +diphenhydramine ). Paracetamol- Adult dose : PO 325 to 650 mg prn q 4 to 6 hr or 1 g 3 to 4 times/day. Not to exceed 4 g/day.Diphenhydramine adult dose: PO 25 to 50 mg q 4 to 6 hr (max, 300 mg/day). He has taken the drug within permissible dosages.
