i have suffering from irregular periods.... so my doctor has advised me to have OVULOC LD along with GLYCOMET 500 mg.... for about six months... Will there be any side sffects if i use it.... Is this the correct medicines that i shoud eat... Iam 24 yrs old

Ovuloc LD is a hormonal pill, when taken regularly results in regular period, usually at the end of each pack. These are contraceptive pill.

Metformin helps to reduce insulin resistance, if present, and also helps in weight reduction.This drug improves ovulation and leads to regular menstrual cycles.
Yes, these medications are useful for irregular periods.
If taken for a limited period of time, negligible side effects.
Long term use may results in effect on genital organs and other systems too.
