Is Pain Around A DVT Surgery Spot On The Calf A Symptom Of Blood Clots?
I had a dvt in my calf and behind my knee last July following childbirth and back surgery. I have been on warfarin for 6 months, fragmin when my inr was low. I finished all meds last week and am now having pain in the areas where the clots were. Could the clots still be there?
The pain in the areas of clots is a worrisome finding. This can be related to clots or muscle spasms. It is best to consult your physician for an examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Praveen Tayal,
