Acidity is one of the cause for chest pain, and it is located in the center part of the chest present like burning sensation and difficulty in swallowing etcetera.
You also to be evaluated for other causes for chest pain, like cardiac pain or noncardiac pain is seen in muscle spasm, lung infection, herpes zoster, pleurisy, etcetera. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
Use pantoprazole tablet before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
