General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Get clinically examined and get X-ray, CT, MRI, EMG, etc., done to detect sciatica or any other pathology. In the meantime, get connected to a Physical therapist. Gentle exercise and massage will give relief. Applying cold pack or ice may be helpful. Lifestyle changes like regular walking and changing your position to avoid nerve impingement.

If sciatica is confirmed you will be treated with corticosteroids, analgesics, opioids if needed. You may be referred to a Neurologist for further management. You can take Naproxen, one stat after food to get rid of pain and inflammation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
