Is Pain In The Abdominal Area Upon Coughing Associated With Pancreatitis?

I have cronic pancreatitis and last night I was asleep on couch and room mate set off bug fogger in bedroom (right beside living room) said hollared at me on way out of house but I didn t get up. They realized I was still in house like 45 sec to 1min later and finally got me out at the quickest 30 sec later. All I can remember is coughing. I woke up 1 1/2 to 2 hours later but it felt more like coming to instead of waking up. Today my muscles in stomach area hurt from coughing but my pancreas has been bothering me also but it was yesterday a little bit before this happened. Should I be worried or concerned?

Yes, hard and consistent coughing can lead to abdominal muscles to becomes little sore or tender while touching of during coughing.

But as you also have pancreatitis (chronic), if you feel any symptoms of accute pain while laying down associated with fever you must consult your physician or further evaluation.

Hope my answer will help you.
