Is Pain In The Veins Of Wrist After Donating Blood Normal?

I donated blood Wednesday night. Just yesterday and today the veins in my wrist have been really achey. Keep in mind, they put the thing in the crease on my forearm on the other side of my elbow. I had trouble even cutting my steak this evening for dinner. Is this normal? Its pretty uncomfortable but not severe painer

It is quite common after blood donation. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. As of now no definite treatment is required.
