Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. You are a medical student. You must have heard of Internship syndrome. What is your opinion about it? How you are going to relate your problem with Internship syndrome?

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is the most common neurodegenerative disease of the motor system. Bulbar symptoms such as dysphagia and dysarthria are frequent features of ALS. Difficulty swallowing is called dysphagia. Dysarthria is a motor speech disorder.

I think, now, you understand your problem. Your problem of phlegm in throat, is just an imagination which comes out of your anxiety about ALS. Ignore it and in some days, there won't be any phlegm sensation.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
