Is Pinched Nerve, Related With Stiff Neck And Discomfort In Hands ?

I think I have a pinched nerve but scared it could be something else ( ALS) I had blood work done and everything came back normal along with a EKG. My neck was stiff but the stiffness has subsided. However I still have occasional bouts of not being able to grip things with hands. Not sure I m having a anxiety/panic attack. Thoughts?

Good evening. Well the bouts you are describing of not being able to grip things is usually due to 2 things. One which is very common is tennis elbow, that is the tendons on the elbow get inflamed and suddenly you will experience that you are not able to grip things. I am not sure if you have any elbow pain. The other thing is you need to get your nerves tested. It is done along with EKG, known as NCV Test.( Nerve conduction velocity).Any weakness in the nerves can cause the grip problem as well. Do look into it and let me know if anything comes up. Hope the information was useful.
